The Supreme Court called for abortion pill access rules to remain in place

WASHINGTON (AP) — A drugmaker asked the Supreme Court on Friday to keep access to its abortion drug free from restrictions imposed by lower court rulings as a legal battle rages on.

The new limits would come into effect on Saturday unless the court acts before then.

An appointment by the Biden administration is also expected.
