The trailer for Frozen Empire offers a first look at the sequel to Chilly.

The Ghostbusters are at it again to destroy ghosts, but this time they need a few extra layers as the first trailer Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire reveals a very chilly New York City where people are freezing to death in fear.
The new sequel of Ghostbusters: Afterlifewhich acted as a sequel to Ghostbusters 2 and ignored the purely feminine Ghostbusters reboot brings the whole gang back: Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Logan Kim and Celeste O’Connor all reprise their roles from the previous film. This time, however, they’re in New York City and back at the old Ghostbuster hideout. Also returning are the remaining original Ghostbusters: Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson. It has also been hinted that Annie Potts, who played Janine in the first two films, will return for this film.
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire The Spengler family (and Paul Rudd) return to New York City and join the OG Busters as they begin new research into the paranormal. But while smashing still makes everyone feel good, it can also unleash an evil force that threatens to scare the world to death. Once again, children must strap on nuclear-powered proton packs and save the world. While Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Based on this trailer the film seems a bit more adult, the humorous and kid friendly tone is maintained for this film and we are not going back to the adult humor of the original film.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife was a huge success and brought the franchise back to life, even if it wasn’t the greatest film of all time. However, this marks the end of the directing duties of the Reitman family, who have helmed the franchise since its inception. Instead, Gil Kenan will direct the film from a script he co-wrote with Jason Reitman. The film’s cast also includes Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster and Emily Alyn Lind.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be in theaters on March 29, 2024.
