The UK Government is offering NHS workers a lump sum and a 5% pay rise
The UK government has made NHS workers a salary offer that would give them a “significant” lump sum in the current financial year and a 5 per cent pay rise in 2023-24, union sources confirmed on Thursday.
Unions are now consulting their members to decide whether to recommend the offer and cancel the strikes planned for next week. An announcement is expected this afternoon.
