The Ukrainian Zelenskyj is calling for more military aid ahead of the fighting in the eastern regions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again called for military aid as the country prepares for what is likely to be the biggest battles of the war in eastern Ukraine, while France dispatched a police unit of its armed forces to Ukraine for the first time to investigate possible war crimes, French authorities have said disclosed the deployment of military personnel in the war zone.

In a virtual address to lawmakers in South Korea on Monday, Mr. Zelensky urged Seoul to provide more humanitarian and non-fatal assistance than has been provided to date. “We thank South Korea for the help you have provided, but to survive the war with Russia we need more help,” Mr. Zelensky said during the roughly 15-minute address.
