“The Voice” fans in disbelief after elimination from the top 10

The Top 8 of “The Voice” was announced on Tuesday 29th November.

The Season 22 semifinals of The Voice will air on Monday December 5th and Tuesday December 6th, and some fans are shocked to see which contestants made it to the next round of the competition.

SPOILER WARNING: The following are spoilers for the live top 10 elimination show “The Voice”. Don’t read any further if you don’t want to know who was eliminated before the semifinals.

At the end of the episode, three contestants from Blake Shelton’s team were marked safe alongside Team Camila Cabello’s Morgan Myles, John Legend’s team members Omar Jose Cardona and Parijita Bastola, and Team Gwen Stefani’s Justin Aaron.

The Wildcard Instant Save featured Team Blake’s Rowan Grace, Team Gwen’s Kique, and Team Legend’s Kim Cruse.

Ultimately, Kim Cruse was saved from elimination and Kique and Rowan Grace were sent home.

Some fans were surprised that Kique was sent home

Kique was a fan favorite to go to the live shows. The young artist was a natural on stage, but ahead of the Top 10 live performances, Kique tested positive for COVID-19 and the show was forced to air a pre-taped performance.

“I think Gwen Stefani’s young man who was affected by this should have moved on.” one person tweeted after the performance.

Another person wrote, “Kique was pretty much screwed. He definitely should have won the save!!”

Many fans commented on Kique’s performance of Leon Bridges’ “River” and bemoaned being sent home so early.

“Honestly I can’t believe he didn’t get more votes after last night? He was a literal fan favorite after the knockouts and was one of the few people to sing as well live this season. I have no idea why more people haven’t warmed to him. Love you Kique”, one Read comment on YouTube.

For his part, Kique said that getting eliminated “sucked”.

“There’s so much more to come but now I’m leaving my best friends and this sucks,” he said wrote on Instagram. “I love you both so much.”

He tagged contestants Rowan Grace and Parijita Bastola.

“I’d say greatest heist of all time, but we already know that.” wrote a fan on Instagram.

Fans think Kique was at a disadvantage

After Kique’s performance during the Top 10 live show, some people went to Reddit to say that they felt that a pre-taped performance like his put him at a disadvantage over the other contestants.

“I mean, it definitely seems like a disadvantage to me. The context of a live show, the audience, the hype – many artists thrive on it and perform better than in an empty room. And Kique really hasn’t shown any level of performance anxiety/nervousness so far this season, I bet he’s one of those guys who does better live. one person wrote.

another said that it was impressive that he broke through the performance at all since he was ill with COVID.
