The Witcher Cookbook offers fans succulent recipes inspired by the game

If these days you’re running out of ideas on what to make for dinner, why not try making a delicious meal out of it? The Witcher with an official cookbook.

You can not only immerse yourself in the world of The Witcher via CD Projekt’s fantasy action RPG franchise and the engrossing Netflix series, but you could also cook up some delicious meals found in his universe.

Created by Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka @WitcherKitchen and @NerdsKitchenthe witcher The cookbook contains “80 delicious recipes inspired by the world of The Witcher games.”

Fans are asked to take a “culinary journey across the continent” that promises tasty recipes inspired by The Witcher‘s extensive settings, characters and lore.

If you have played The Witcher Playing, you’ll know how many different treats can be found around every corner, and these yummy treats come in pretty handy when you need healing after a monster fight.

Luckily, you don’t have to face any beasts to enjoy the succulent meals from the cookbook. Though the book doesn’t detail exactly what festivals you might prepare, the pre-order page states:

“These dishes celebrate local and seasonal ingredients while adding unique twists that create a culinary map of the continent and beyond.”

“Warm up with a bowl of fragrant stew or succulent baked fruit from White Orchard’s namesake trees; end a tiring trip to Velen with a hearty, rustic meal at the local tavern; enjoy a flavorful snack as you stroll through Oxenfurt’s markets; Sample dishes from near and far in the diverse port city of Novigrad; eat freshly caught fish and hot drinks on the Isles of Skellige; feast on rich dishes in the sun-kissed climates of Toussaint and Beauclair; or forage on the perilous road to Kaer Morhen to learn the edible secrets of the witcher’s keep.”

Some of the dishes found in The Witcher Games include: Boeuf Bourguignon, Chocolate Soufflé, Duck Confit, Gutted Pheasant, Mutton Stew, Onion Soup, Ratatouille and Tarte Tatin. Ideal for those who want a little taste The Witcher in the comfort of their own home.
