Should have been LeBron throwing his money in our faces after playing with the worst basketball of his career in the 2011 NBA Finals? HWe shouldn’t have done that. But that didn’t make what he said any less true and less satisfying for those of us who were frustrated by it He received vitriol all season for going to the intense heat in free agency.

Yes, the people who thunderously booed him in the NBA arenas had to laugh at his shortcomings. Of course, it’s a stain on his career that can never be removed. James will wear it forever no matter how many more championships he wins.

After that ugly streak ended, however, he went home to a multi-millionaire Pad in South Florida. Now he’s a billionaire with four titles, the NBAs All-time record and plays for what is arguably the most famous franchise – the Lakers.

James was wrong, but he was also damn right, and his critics deserved it.
