Three people injured in serious accident in Lebanon district

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Three people were injured Tuesday night after a serious car accident in Lebanon County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, an Acura RSX was traveling on the 400 block of Union Road when it made a right turn on the crest of the hill. The vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees and a power pole.

Images shared by Mt. Zion Fire Company showed the badly damaged vehicle with the roof removed.

State police say the 19-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle and was transported from the scene to Hershey Medical Center by Lebanon’s First Aid and Security Patrol.

Two other Lebanon County passengers were transported to Hershey Medical Center with unknown injuries after being extricated from the vehicle by Mt. Zion Fire Company. One was flown in a helicopter, the other in an ambulance.

There is currently no information about the condition of those involved in the accident.
