Tish Cyrus CONFIRMS new romance with Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell

Tish Cyrus has confirmed her new romance with Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell – less than two weeks after her ex Billy Ray Cyrus announced his engagement to Firerose.

The 55-year-old mother of Miley Cyrus, who split from Billy, 61, in April after 28 years of marriage, shared a photo of herself hugging Dominic, 52, by a pool with the caption: “Thanks for that cute photo @Vijatm’ and tag the actor.

She also shared a post that alluded to their new romance, which read, “In God’s perfect timing everything will be fine,” with her own comment, “Sometimes it’s hard to believe but it’s so TRUE.”

Fans have speculated about a romance between the two, with Tish writing a number of loved-up comments on Dominic’s Instagram posts of late.

In November, she wrote, “Love everything about it” to a post of Dominic smoking and posted some hearts in his latest photo.

In August, the pair exchanged flirtation when Tish captioned a post from Dominic while he was surfing: “Hi babe,” to which the actor replied, “Hi love.”

Dominic was previously in a nine-year on-off romance with 90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord, 37.

The post comes just days after Miley’s father and Tish’s ex-husband Billy confirmed his engagement to Australian singer Firerose, 34.

Tish filed for divorce from Billy Ray in April after 28 years of marriage and three children together.

Miley and Billy Ray were rumored to have stopped speaking after the split, although the Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker recently insisted there is no rift with his children.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, Billy Ray revealed he popped the question to Firerose just four months after Tish filed for divorce and just weeks after the death of his mother, Ruth Ann Castro.

He also gave an insight into his relationship with the musician, who is almost half his age.

Firerose recalled the moment he proposed to her, when he revealed there was no bent knee or a ring, as she said, “Billy looked at me and said, ‘Will you, will you marry me?'” And I just said, ‘Of course I do. I love you.’ He said, ‘I love you. I want to make this official. I want to be with you forever.’

She also revealed that she later chose a diamond and designed her own ring, which has since been featured on social media.

Since Billy’s split from Tish and rumors of his engagement, there have been reports that there is a rift with his children; Son Christopher Cody (whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Kristin Luckey), 30, Brandi, 35, and Noah, 22, and sons Trace, 33, and Braison, 28.

Notably, The Sun reported in September that the new relationship had led to a falling out with superstar daughter Miley and that things escalated to the point that they stopped communicating with each other, including unfollowing them on Instagram.

However, Billy Ray insisted there were no hard feelings in the family, as he explained: “Everyone knew that relationship was over a long time ago.

“Everyone turns the page. It was a lot, but everyone knew it was time for a change.”

Billy Ray and Firerose revealed the pair met 12 years ago when she had an audition on him and daughter Miley’s children’s show Hannah Montana and that they stayed in touch as she explained: “Our friendship was through the years so hard.”

The two became songwriting partners during the COVID-19 pandemic and released their debut single New Day in July 2021.

He said: “She plays all her own instruments and writes her own songs. We started sharing music and it just kind of evolved.”

Firerose alluded to Billy Ray’s difficult relationship with his then-wife Tish when she said she was his shoulder to cry on.

The Australian singer said: “Billy confided in me a lot about what was going on in his life. I was just the best friend I could be to support him.’
