To Your Eternity Anime Receives Confirmation For Third Season, New Visual

Entertainment

Eternity goes on.

The To Your Eternity anime is officially getting a third season, although it will be a while before it can even begin to air.

In a post on Twitter shared via the show’s official account on March 12, it was revealed that the decision had been made to resume production of the series for a third season. The post also thanked viewers for sticking with the show through all 20 episodes of the second season and promised to see her again in “this world.”

The tweet also included a new image to accompany the announcement. Main character and protagonist Fushi looks into the camera with a slightly surprised expression on his face and seems to have been caught relaxing and having a drink. However, the latter element might give fans pause as it appears to be some kind of more modern coffee drink with a straw.

Whether or not this indicates the series’ leap into the modern era and its final arc is still unknown. Likewise, it’s still unclear when we’ll see To Your Eternity season 3 release and which studio might be responsible for bringing it to life, as that information wasn’t provided with the original announcement tweet. Given these facts, it’s safe to say that the new season has only just been given the green light for production and likely has a long way to go before it’s completed.

Regardless, fans can find the full image and announcement tweet below.

Both To Your Eternity seasons one and two are currently available to stream through Crunchyroll. For more information on the series, check out some of our other articles about the series below.
