Tom Brady joins Fox Sports after retiring from NFL, Buccaneers

plans upon plans. Tom Brady is set to join Fox Sports after retiring from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The seven-time Super Bowl champion has been announced as the new senior analyst for Fox Sports.

“We are pleased to announce that straight out of his playing career, 7-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady will be joining us at @foxsports as our senior analyst,” Lachlan Murdoch said on Fox Sports’ Twitter. “Throughout this long-term agreement, Tom will not only play our biggest NFL games with Kevin Burkhardt, but will also act as an ambassador for us, particularly in relation to customer and promotional initiatives. We are delighted that Tom has signed up to join the Fox team and wish him all the best for the upcoming season.”

However, Tom remains determined to play for his team for the remainder of the season. “Excited but lots of unfinished business on the field with the @Buccaneers #LFG,” the quarterback tweeted in the announcement. Lachlan said it’s “completely up to” Tom when he decides to retire from football and join Fox.

Tom Brady first announced his plan to retire out of the NFL after more than two decades in February 2022, after the Buccaneers lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the pre-Super Bowl playoffs. “I’ve always believed that the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition – if there isn’t a 100 per cent competitive commitment you’re not going to succeed and success is what I love about our game,” he said Brady in his testimony. “There is a physical, mental and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has enabled me to maximize my highest potential. And I’ve done my best for the past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life.”

Tom withdrew his retirement in a tweet in March 2022. “Over the last two months it has become clear to me that my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates and I love my supportive family. You make everything possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”
