Tom lost his life in March this year at the age of 33 after battling stage four glioblastoma brain cancer for a year and a half.

Kate and her husband Rio Ferdinand, who helped Kelsey cope with Tom’s death, appear in episode two of their new documentary.

Kelsey revealed: “Kate was a really great person to talk to. I spoke to her about wanting to get rid of our bed, but I said to her, “How will people look at me for this?” If I want to move forward, I have to take these steps.

‘Kate said: “You just don’t have to worry about what other people think. You’re the only person getting into that bed, so you have to do what’s right for you.”

Rio’s first wife Rebecca, with whom he shared children Lorenz, Tate and Tia, died in May 2015 after a battle with breast cancer.

Kate, who married Rio in 2019, has previously faced the challenges of being a stepmother and keeping Rebecca’s memory alive.

In the interview, Kelsey also said she was a “soul mate” to the late The Wanted singer, with whom she shares daughter Aurelia and son Bodhi.

She explained how lucky they were to have each other for their 13-year relationship.

Kelsey and Sean, a father of two, are said to have met when she was on a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes, in September.

“It’s very early days and no one knows what the future will bring, but right now Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life,” a source said.

It was also revealed that electrician Sean was jailed in 2013 when he killed a stranger with a single punch while waiting outside an east London taxi.

He spent time behind bars after fatally beating 44-year-old Shaun McDermott during a heated argument over a taxi outside Romford’s Havering Oak pub.

Boggans was waiting for his then-girlfriend to pick him up when an argument broke out with the 44-year-old, who was thrown to the ground during the skirmish. CCTV footage later picked up the electrician walking away from the scene.

Elsewhere, Kelsey has created a new six-part series for ITVBe called Life After Tom, which follows how she and her two children go through life following the singer’s death.

The show will feature unseen videos and memories of the couple, following Kelsey as he navigates grief while continuing motherhood.
