Tottenham and Newcastle want a world-class Prem star but he will cost £65m

Richarlison wants to leave Everton but stay in the Premier League this summer UOL Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have reportedly shown interest.
We saw both sides of Richarlison on Wednesday night at Turf Moor, as Everton slipped further and further into the quicksand in an error-strewn 3-2 defeat by Burnley. The big ones and the, well, not so great.
The Brazil international was probably the best player on the pitch and certainly the best in Everton colors. He scored twice and distressed Conor Roberts so badly that Sean Dyche pulled the ragged right-back off the pitch with 20 minutes remaining.

Sometimes he was unplayable, sometimes irrepressible.
But if Richarlison hadn’t let the excitement get the better of him in a one-on-one with Nick Pope and hammered straight into the side netting, then Everton would have gone 3-1 before the hour mark. Minutes later, Burnley equalized.
If Richarlison seals a big money move from Goodison Park this summer, those are the kind of chances he’s likely to take. Especially when, adds UOL, anyone who wants to take him away from Everton has to part with £65m.
Is Richarlison worth £65?
Tottenham Hotspur have considered a deal. As does a Newcastle United side who now have the financial resources needed to move forward with a £65m deal for a player who, while undeniably talented, is far from done.
UOL suggest Richarlison wants to leave Everton even if it is alongside Frank Lampard to do ward off the threat of relegation. He has been targeted by PSG and Barcelona in the past. Now in a World Cup year, staying in the Premier League is his priority.
“In my eyes, he’s a world-class attacker,” said Toffees legend Kevin Campbell Sky Sports in 2020.
Whether you agree or not, Richarlison is certainly an attacker with “world-class” potential. A move to an ambitious Newcastle United – or a Tottenham side coached by a nearly unrivaled Antonio Conte – could be the key to unleashing that inner greatness.
