Tottenham are reportedly one step closer to signing Ivan Perisic as Inter Milan have identified two players who could replace the Croatian winger this summer.

According to Gianluca Di MarzioCagliari’s Raoul Bellanova and Udinese’s Destiny Udogie will be targeted by the Serie A giants once Perisic’s move to Tottenham is confirmed, a signing that could happen as early as next week.

With Fraser Forster also on the verge of a Spurs move, Antonio Conte is making quick moves in the transfer market to fill gaps in Tottenham’s squad, with Perisic likely to become a starting XI player next season.

The striker who deserves a reported £125,000-a-week at Inter, has adapted his game to full-back role with great success in recent seasons, with Perisic recording ten goals and nine assists in all competitions last season.

While Ryan Sessegnon has impressed under Conte this season, with Sergio Reguilon also a solid back-up, the arrival of Persic is a huge improvement on Tottenham’s current options at left-back.

Despite Perisic being 33, the Croatian seems to only get better with age and with Inter now eyeing the experienced attacker’s replacement, Tottenham’s contract seems closer than ever.

After a top four finish and a £150m cash injection from ENIC, Tottenham have big plans for Conte this summer and Inter’s latest transfer update has never put the club in a stronger position to sign Perisic.

The winger will be a great addition to Tottenham on a free transfer and having thrived under Conte during their time together at Inter, Perisic could be the next Serie A signing to thrive in north London.
