Tottenham consider £10m sale of Pochettino as two English clubs make contact

Tottenham are looking to sell Jack Clarke this summer and have received interest from both Sheffield United and Sunderland.
Clarke showed tremendous potential in Marcelo Bielsa’s first season as manager of Leeds United and developed into an exciting talent on the flanks.
Tottenham saw enough in Clarke to pounce on £10m deal in the summer of 2019, making him their first signing in over 500 days.
Clarke was loaned out to Leeds but it’s been a struggle since. That stint at Leeds did not go to plan, nor did stints at Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.
The 21-year-old made an impression at Sunderland in the second half of last season and Tottenham appear ready to let him go.
Tottenham want to sell Jack Clarke
The Northern Echo Report that Tottenham are actively considering selling Clarke this summer, now he is in the last year of his contract.
Sunderland are pushing for a permanent deal for Clarke after he helped them win promotion to the Championship via the League One playoffs.
Sunderland have clearly seen something from Clarke to persuade her to pursue a permanent deal, but that won’t be easy this summer.
The report adds that Sheffield United have also been in touch with Tottenham in hopes of a deal for Clarke.
Sunderland will absolutely hope Clarke’s loan with the club will benefit them in signing him permanently.
Tottenham appear ready to let that happen and put an end to one of Spurs’ most memorable signings in recent memory.
Clarke is yet to make his Premier League debut for Tottenham and has only played four games in all competitions for the club.
While much of the focus this summer 2019 transfer window has turned to the money spent on Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso.
The deal for Clarke doesn’t look much better, however, and three years after paying £10million for the big man, Tottenham are ready to part ways.
