Tottenham set to strike £54m doubles deal at year’s end, ‘really amazing’ technical player to join

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to sign Juventus duo Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski for a combined fee of €65m (£54m).

That’s according to Sky Italia transfer insider Gianluca Di Marziowho claims that Tottenham are now one step away from signing both players.

Both players were signed to Juventus by Fabio Paratici, who is currently Tottenham’s head of transfer.

Paratici should now combine well, but let’s start with Kulusevski.

Tottenham appear to have turned to Kulusevski after seeing Liverpool usurp the throne in the race for Porto star Luis Diaz.

Currently, it is reported that Tottenham are preparing a deal for Kulusevski to join on loan.

That deal would then become permanent for €40m (£33m) if Tottenham qualify for the Champions League or if Kulusevski makes a certain number of appearances.

Compared to Kevin De Bruyne, Kulusevski is a creative left-footed winger. The prospect of him pairing Son Heung-min and Harry Kane up front is very appealing.

Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t appear to be a fan of Kulusevski, and Juve are now ready to let him go.

Kulusevski will be headed to North London by Juventus midfielder Bentancur, who is ‘determined’ to join Tottenham.

Aston Villa have made an offer for Bentancur, but he wants to sign for Tottenham ahead of schedule on Monday.

The deal for Bentancur is said to be worth €25m (£21m), assisting Antonio Conte’s engine room in the process.

Uruguayan Ace Bentancur has been praised for his ‘really amazing’ technical ability teammate Matthijs de Ligt, and that could really help Tottenham build midfield.

Both players are expected to arrive in North London very soon, with Tottenham finally on the verge of a successful transfer.
