Tucker Carlson calls the Jan. 6 riots the “second biggest fraud of his life” after the 2020 election.

Tucker Carlson said Tuesday the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was the second biggest fraud of his life.

In an interview with an intruder who was at the riot on Jan. 6, 2021, Carlson said, “Jan. 6 is I think probably only the 2020 election second as the biggest scam of my life.

He said, “You know that because they get completely hysterical when confronted with facts that differ from their lies.”

Carlson was given exclusive access to 40,000 hours of footage of the Capitol Security Building from the riots last Monday, which he used to downplay the violence.

In the interview, Carlson asks Proud Boy Daniel Goodwyn on what people can do for “political prisoners”.

Goodwyn pleaded guilty to trespassing in 2021 last month and will face a hearing in May.

In the interview, he called on Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy to release all footage of the uprising to the public.

On Sunday, March 12, McCarthy said the tapes were being “slowly” rolled out to other networks – following the exclusive access granted to FOX.

Goodwyn also urges viewers to educate themselves and directs them to a website.

He speaks of “the truth that’s going on…that’s being withheld by the gatekeeping media, that for example four people died that day and they were all Trump supporters.

He says of Carlson, “Of course you revealed that Sicknick died the next day.”

Police officer Brian Sicknick is said to have sustained injuries while “physically interacting with protesters”.

A coroner reported after the riot that Sicknick died of “acute brainstem and cerebellar infarctions due to acute basilar artery thrombosis” — a type of stroke.

He continued, “There was a lot of police violence that day and that needs to be investigated.”

Carlson replied, “January 6th is probably, I think, the second biggest scam of my life, after the 2020 election.”

It recently emerged that the FOX News anchor told his producer he “passionately hated Trump,” according to files unsealed by a judge in Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit.

Dominion is suing Carlson’s network Fox News in a $1.6 billion case, alleging that the media company defamed the voting company by questioning its technology and methods. Fox has vehemently denied the allegations.

The lawsuit alleges that Carlson texted Alex Pfeiffer on January 4, 2021 to say he was looking forward to a post-Trump era.

“We’re very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I can’t wait,” he allegedly said, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit, filed by Dominion Voter Systems, alleges Fox News sponsored former President Donald Trump’s false claims that his equipment was used to rig the 2020 election.

Fox News said it was “proud of our 2020 election coverage, which stands in the highest tradition of American journalism.”

They are defending themselves against Dominion’s lawsuit, saying it’s all about promoting their voting machines.

Dominion argues that the First Amendment does not allow media companies to promote conspiracy theories they know to be false.

A Department of Justice report shows that Daniel Goodwyn has been charged with: knowingly entering or remaining in locked buildings or property without lawful authority; forced entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds; obstruction of an official procedure; disorderly and disruptive behavior in a restricted building or property; and parades, demonstrations, or pickets at a Capitol.

He was arrested on January 29, 2021 and charged on February 24.

Goodwyn was arraigned on April 2 and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

In the official complaint and finding of fact, the court noted that Goodwyn had posted on Instagram: “I didn’t break anything or take anything, but I went in for a few minutes.”

This January he pleaded guilty to illegally entering the US Capitol building during the January 6 riots.

In exchange for the plea, prosecutors agreed to drop a felony count of obstructing an official process and three other felonies.

He is expected to face zero to six months in prison after a sentencing hearing on May 31, 2023.
