Tucker Carlson shares new footage Jan. 6 showing Capitol cops escorting ‘QAnon Shaman’ to the Senate

Jan. 6 surveillance footage of inside the Capitol shows “mostly peaceful chaos,” Tucker Carlson said Monday night — sending clips of the infamous “QAnon shaman” apparently being shown in the Senate and sending images of Officer Brian Sicknick, who seemingly ‘healthy and energetic’ after the riot that is widely believed to have caused his death.
Carlson has received more than 40,000 hours of unseen surveillance camera footage of the riots and will air select clips later this week.
The Fox News host told his viewers that the footage – given to him by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy – challenged the prevailing narrative of the riots as a violent insurgency.
He was also referring to Ray Epps – a rioter who supporters of Donald Trump said was an FBI whistleblower. Epps himself has testified that he did not work for the government.
“They were orderly and gentle,” Carlson said of those who stormed the Capitol. “They weren’t insurgents; they were onlookers.’

Tucker Carlson on Monday night released footage from inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, including clips showing “QAnon shaman” Jacob Chansley (above) appearing to be “escorted” through the building

Carlson said they “obviously worship the Capitol,” noting that they took selfies and “queued in neat little lines.”
‘Deadly Rebellion.’ Everything about that sentence is a lie,” he said.
“Very little on January 6th was organized or violent.
“Surveillance video from inside the Capitol shows mostly peaceful chaos.”
Carlson pointed to footage showing the “QAnon Shaman” — a shirtless Viking helmet and Jacob Chansley — inside the Capitol.
Chansley, a 33-year-old Arizona Navy veteran, was one of the most prominent figures to enter the Capitol on Jan. 6.
He has been in prison for almost four years for “obstruction of official proceedings”.
In the footage, Chansley appears to be guided by an officer as he wanders the Capitol.
He passes a line of riot police who make no move to stop him.
They then escort him to various entrances in the chamber, which appear to be locked, and finally find him at an open door through which he disappears.
“Pretty much every moment of his time in the Capitol was captured on tape,” Carlson said.
“The tapes show the Capitol police never stopped Jacob Chansley. They helped him. They acted as his tour guides.’
Carlson also showed the moments after Officer Brian Sicknick was confronted by the rioters.
Sicknick, 42, died on January 7 – the day after the riot.

Brian Sicknick is seen shortly after breaking into the Capitol. Carlson said he appeared ‘healthy and strong’
In April 2021, the DC coroner ruled that Sicknick, who had been injured while confronting rioters, had suffered a stroke and died of natural causes.
“To this day, media reports describe Sicknick as someone who, quote, was ‘murdered’ on January 6,” Carlson said.
“The video we reviewed proves that’s a lie.”
Carlson said the officer was “healthy and strong,” noting that he was wearing a helmet.
“So it’s hard to imagine that he was killed by a head injury,” he said.
“Whatever happened to Brian Sicknick was clearly not the result of violence he suffered at the Capitol entrance.
“This video undoes the most powerful and politically useful lie Democrats have told us about January 6th.”
There have been several deaths linked to the riot, including four Trump supporters – one of whom, Ashli Babbitt, was shot dead by Capitol Police.
Four officers died by suicide in the days and weeks after the riot.
There were also around 1,000 arrests.
