Turkey Syria earthquake donation: Here’s how from the UK
The terrible earthquake took place in the early hours of February 6th and has taken the death toll to 24,000 at the time of writing.
As hundreds of buildings were destroyed, many survivors were left homeless, as some reports suggest as many as 5.3 million people have been left homeless in Syria alone.

Many charities that are part of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) are accepting donations to support the earthquake.
The British Red Cross has launched its appeal and sees members of the team supporting the search and research mission.
While Oxfam provides emergency food and shelter to support those exposed to the cold, as well as supplies such as food and clean water.
