Ahead of the Twenty Five Twenty One season finale, tvN released a preview that gave fans hope for the final of BaekDo.
In the pre-released clip, Yijin and Na Hee Doo are both looking for each other as they may have said hurtful words when Yijin came back to Korea but only to leave again.
Yijin admits, “That’s not how our last meeting was supposed to end.” Hee Doo repeats, ‘I can’t let you go with these words.’
Before Yijin heads back to New York, they really need to meet up as they realize you can’t let go without saying everything in your heart. Check out the preview below.
Another preview shows Yijin set to make history at UBS, and as his career takes a different turn, he may need to stay longer outside of Korea.
Viewers also get a glimpse again of the 2009 interview scene where Hee Doo and Yijin met for an interview over the TV screen.

Fan theories about the BaekDo endgame are taking over Twitter
Even with multiple hints from tvN that Baek Yijin and Hee Doo may have split at ages 25 and 21, fans of the show are cheering for a happy ending with various ‘BaekDo’ endgame theories.
Along with the fans, BTS shared on his Instagram story Jungkook, the Grammy nominated pop star, and replied to a fan that he doesn’t like sad endings, so if the director can please give them a happy ending!
Suspecting a happy ending, one fan said: “BaekDo runs and looks for each other. I can’t just let it end like this.” Y’ALL BAEKDO ENDGAME, I’M SURE THIS PREVIEW DON’T FOOL ME!”
A second fan added, “BAEKDO ENDGAME Sure! They’re going to do a Your Name scene where they’re running all over the place looking for each other and when they find each other they’re going to be shy but they won’t be able to hide how they actually feel.”
Happy or not, Twenty Five Twenty One has captured the hearts of millions. Along the lines of that, a fan wrote, “I will miss her so much! I never expected their chemistry to be THAT good. The pairing of Nam Joo Hyuk x Kim Taeri is indeed a great decision and I’m so glad they both took on this project. BaekDo endgame or not, they’re still one of the best couples in K-Drama land!

Twenty-five twenty-one Cast says goodbye to drama
The cast of Twenty-five twenty-one shared their heartfelt messages at the end of filming of the tvN drama, news reported.
Lead actress Kim Taeri gushed, “Hee Do, it’s been an honor to meet a cool person like you. I’m glad I met you.”
The 31-year-old award-winning actress chose the end of season two as her favorite scene, in which Hee Doo said, “If it’s just the two of us, let’s be happy without anyone else noticing. That’s our little secret,” adding, “It was a perfect scene where everything just fell into place. (Translation via Soompi)
Thanking viewers for tuning in to the show, Nam Joo Hyuk said, “I’ve worked hard to film for the last seven months. The time flew by as I enjoyed filming with all the cast and staff.”
He chose the beach scene, in which a group of five friends just watched the sea in silence, as his favorite scene. He added: “The five youths resemble the ocean. Calm sea or raging waves, the youth standing there seem like us.”
WJSN’s Bona, who played the character of Yurim, remarked, “It feels like just yesterday that I spent a lot of time preparing and filming. I’m a little sad because it’s already the end. I was so grateful to be a part of Twenty Five, Twenty One as Go Yu Rim for the past seven months. Working on such a great project with such wonderful people became a valuable time in which I learned, felt and reflected a lot.”
