Two family members turned off ‘Euphoria’ and left home – The Hollywood Reporter
Sydney Sweeney opens up about the first time her family watched euphoria and said a few family members hadn’t gotten very far.

“My mom was visiting me on set at the time, so she knew the story and I talked to her a lot about it – my dad didn’t,” Sweeney explained. “I didn’t prepare my father at all.”
Sweeney said she doesn’t really know how to bring up the HBO show when talking to her dad. “When I talk to my dad, it’s usually not about work,” she added. “We talk like father-daughter talks.”

Not knowing what to expect from the show and Sweeney’s Cassie, which is about a group of high school kids struggling with drug, sex and violence issues, she said, “My Dad and my grandpa turned off the TV and went off.”
“But my grandma… she’s a huge supporter of mine,” added the star. “She’s a big fan of mine. In fact, I usually take her all over the world on my various sets and make her an extra.”
euphoriaThe show, which also stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Angus Cloud, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, and Barbie Ferreira, has been renewed for a third season, but a premiere date has not yet been set.
