And I had a concussion and I was very upset. Let’s think, which scenes were those? Definitely the last, the last last scene of the movie that gave me a concussion.”

He clarified that the injury did not happen during filming, but when he was compensated himself.

“I was alone, just my head in my hand, blood in my hands…” he recalled. He said he still went to work despite the injury, but was “completely devastated” during filming.

Always Amore starts April 3rd

“Always Amore” premieres Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Hynes stars alongside Autumn Reeser, who just starred in Hallmark’s acclaimed The Wedding Veil trilogy. The new film will be executive produced by Giada De Laurentiis.

in a (n Interview with Dara from Dear HallmarkHynes said that Reeser was wonderful to work with and that the chemistry between two characters in a film really boils down to talent and skill.

“To me, good chemistry is what defines someone who’s just good at their job,” he shared. “… It’s about building moments in these films and trying to find things that are interesting about them and letting those surface and focus the film. And try to stay away from the things that might not be that fantastic…Autumn is very, very talented and she’s a very good actress. If someone is also a nice person, that’s the icing on the cake. This allows for more creativity as you can have open conversations. You can approach your day creatively and efficiently.”

The film’s synopsis reads: “When Elizabeth tries to keep her late husband’s once acclaimed restaurant afloat, she is forced to work with a consultant to turn things around. He ignites her passion for baking and life itself.”
