United, Delta Cancel some flights, as Omicron Spreads
United Airlines Holdings Inc. is canceling dozens of flights over the holiday weekend, due to a surge in Covid-19 cases affecting cabin crew and Delta Air Lines Inc. also cited this variation as a factor behind some of the flight cancellations.
At both airlines, the number of canceled flights accounted for a relatively small percentage of the planned flights.
