Unshackled Event brings Flashpoint Limited Time Mode (LTM) back to Apex Legends

Between arenas, new maps and the introduction of the new control mode, traditional limited time modes or LTMs haven’t seen much daylight in recent seasons. The ending of Season 12: Defiance brings back what players know and love in LTM format. An LTM called Flashpoint, which was first introduced in the Aftermarket Collection Event, returns to the game for the Unshackled Event.

Flashpoint has a series of large spheres around certain points of interest (POIs) on the map called flashpoints. In them, you automatically regenerate your health and shields. Outside of them, all shield cells, syringes, medkits, and shield batteries have been removed. The LTM will be available alongside the usual game modes.

In addition to the return of Flashpoint, there are 40 new themed cosmetics that will be shuffled into the larger loot pool rather than being a limited time offer. However, there will still be limited-time cosmetics on the Prize Trackers. This has become standard for these events, but note that unlike other events of this nature, the Unshackled Event only lasts two weeks, not three. The Unshackled Event runs from April 19th to May 3rd.
