‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Tom Sandoval is hovering over his band’s success Tom Sandoval & most extras. Just five months after his debut as the frontman of the cover band, the bar star has big plans.

November 2021 Sandoval said Page Six he was “ready to be taken seriously” after nine seasons on “Vandperum Rules” as a musician. Tom Tom’s partner admitted that when he first got his start on the Bravo reality show in 2013, he worried he might have “ruined” his chances of getting into music or acting. “But what I found is that honestly, the show was an amazing platform to do really anything,” he revealed. “Music is something I’ve always loved and always come back to as a lover.”

In March 2022, Sandoval and his eight Most Extras bandmates went on a “spring training tour” on the East Coast, according to a post her Instagram pagewhere they performed a number of cover hits in several cities.

“My goal for Tom Sandoval & the MOST Extras is for people to come out and hear their favorite songs,” Sandoval said Bravo Insider in an April 2022 interview. “This is one of my favorite things to do when people hear a song they might not have heard in a while. We want to make songs that people don’t usually hear in cover bands.”

Sandoval added that his band would never play an expected Journey song like the 1980s classic “Don’t Stop Believin.”

“We’re just everywhere,” he said. “For example, we open with ‘Wish You Were Here’ by Incubus, I play the trumpet within the first 20 seconds. And then it goes straight into Loverboy’s ‘Workin’ for the Weekend’. “

Tom Sandoval teased that he’s writing original music for a solo album

While he enjoys surprising fans with unexpected covers, Sandoval also wants to create new music as a solo artist.

“I’m really excited that I actually worked on original music,” he said. “I’m working on a song right now. I’m really looking forward to [people] to hear this song. It will be kind of pop but indie.”

Sandoval shared that he is working with a producer and a record label.

“You know me — I’m going to do a music video,” he said. “And then we’ll probably do a release in the summer.”

This won’t be Sandoval’s first foray into the studio — or writing. He was previously part of the two-man band, Charles McMansion, with collaborator Isaac Kappy. Sandoval once said Billboard that the duo had a “modern Blues Brothers vibe” and worked hand in hand in all aspects of music and production.

In 2015, Sandoval and Kappy released the song “TIP” which became a huge hit with a music video. “I wrote 70 to 80 percent of TIP’s lyrics,” Sandoval said.

But he also said he’d love to work with his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix.

“I’d love to take her up there to sing a song because she has such a great voice,” he said. “Ariana can sing — she’s got a couple of whistles.”
