VOGUE is suing Drake, 21 Savage for fake ‘Her Loss’ covers

drake and 21 Wild are facing a $4 million lawsuit after rubbing Vogue the wrong way with their album promo.

Conde Naste, Vogue’s parent company, filed a lawsuit against the rappers, according to Her Loss TMZ. Legal documents obtained by the outlet reportedly say that Drake and 21 used Legacy magazine’s name to promote their collaborative album Her Loss by posing on what appears to be a legitimate VOGUE cover, which the Made fans believe that the company would soon be discontinuing the special edition.

Some media even reported on the topic, which irks Condé Nast because it’s completely false. They say the company and Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief, “have not endorsed each other [“Her Loss”] in some way.”

The company also claims it has asked the platinum-selling rappers multiple times to remove all promos bearing the Vogue name, but nothing has been done. Both Drake and 21 shared images on the fake covers, with no indication it was a parody. They even tagged the magazine and said hello to Anna in the caption.

Thank you @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support at this historic moment

Condé Nast also claims that the teams at Drake and 21 are emailing cursed fans to “celebrate Drake’s Vogue cover.” They said street teams across the country would even distribute the fake copies, and they did. A Twitter user reported being handed the magazine upon entering NYC.

Vogue’s parent company reportedly wants a judge to stop using the Vogue trademark immediately, and they are seeking at least $4 million in damages.
