Wendy Moten was crowned the runner-up of NBC’sVoice“In the fall of 2021. The singer, who was on Team Blake Shelton on the show, informed her fans that some were finding it interesting.

“NOTIFICATION !!!” she wrote with Live video is 10 minutes long. “I will sing at OPRY FEB12!! It will be streamed on the Opry website!! ”

However, that’s not the only announcement Moten has.

“FEB 14 will be my first night back with the Grammy Award winning Texas Swing band, The Time Jumpers!!! If you’ve always wanted a live country music experience – Come to 3 & Lindsley / Nashville 7pm Monday, February 14!!! I will wait for you!!!! ”

Fans and ‘Voice’ contestants are excited about Moten

Everyone was super excited for Moten after she made her announcement.

“Yay Wendy!” Kinsey Rose, a “Voice” season 21 contestant, commented. “Have a great time at the Opry! Will come to hear from you on Monday. “

Bella DeNapoli commented on the post with multiple heart emojis.

“People love you for who you are!” one commenter. “Don’t try to be someone you’re not! That’s what makes you such an inspiration to me! Thank you Wendy! You show me a light at the end of the tunnel! You are great!”

Another fan commented: “Nice to hear from you… I will always think of you as the Voice! I have to find a way to get notifications that you’re live!! ”

She also announced that she will have performances in April in Memphis, Tennessee, and encouraged her fans to call to buy tickets rather than buy online because it’s cheaper than going through the local the point.

Moten has previously collaborated with Blake Shelton

In an Instagram post published on December 21, 2021, Moten updated fans and let them know that something could be in the works.

“Counting the days until I fully recover from my elbow surgery so I can get back to work, finish recording new music and perform live!!” Moten wrote.

Moten broke her elbow after a live performance on “The Voice” when she fell on stage and injured both arms. The arm needed surgery to repair, and she has now undergone that process.

She added, “I’ll be sure to keep you all posted, and I hope to see something in the works with @blakeshelton too!!! Fingers crossed!!! ”

Even though it’s just teasing, but teasing about what might happen in the future, there’s certainly the possibility that the two could work together and make something great. The coaches have worked with former contestants in the past, most recently when Kelly Clarkson collaborated on a duet with “The Voice” winner Jake Hoot in 2021.

Moten lost to “The Voice” to Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom trio, although some fans were upset when Moten was hit and thought she should have won the show. Many fans took to Reddit to express their disappointment.

“I’m at home tired of POC women not getting the reconciliation they deserve,” a post on Reddit reads. “How is season 754 & no one has won yet. I saw these girls leaving it all on stage and singing cafe singers. However, they did not win. Like I’m missing something? ”

“This season, it’s very clear that Wendy has the best voice, probably the best contestant voice on the show ever. She surprised me…probably most of us,” someone wrote to respond.

“The Voice” did not has not been renewed yet for season 22. If the show gets a refresh, pretty much, it will return for the fall 2022 cycle, possibly mid-September.
