Voters must punish GOP for nominating ‘clown’ candidate Herschel Walker

The Nation’s Justice Correspondent, Elie Mystal, said Friday on MSNBC’s All In that Republican nominee for the US Senate in Georgia, Herschel Walker, is a “clown” candidate that voters are voting for Republicans should punish.

Responding to Mystal’s column on Fox News Channel’s Hannity on Thursday, Walker said, “I represent the people of Georgia and I won’t do what people tell me and I won’t have you bully me because you can’t. But what I would like to do is make you take the time to come to Georgia. We sit down and break bread because I’m about bringing people together, not separating people. Apparently you separate people based on their skin color. That’s not Herschel Walker.”

Mystal said, “I will not waste Georgia voters’ time by helping Herschel Walker take his mind off their problems. I will debate, lunch, and break bread with Herschel Walker after he has spoken with Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock about current issues affecting Georgia voters. All Walker is trying to do is distract people from the fact that he has no political blueprint and literally can’t articulate energy policy or COVID policy or any policy that matters to Georgia voters.”

He added, “It will work for Republicans until voters start punishing them for nominating these clown candidates.”
