“Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy introduced his girlfriend Ally Lewber, with whom he has been dating since January 2022, during the tenth season of the series, which premiered on February 8, 2023. In the trailer for season 10Lewber can be seen telling her castmate Charli Burnett that she’s uncomfortable with Kennedy’s friendship with Lala Kent, saying, “I’d be lying as a friend if I said, ‘Oh, I’m super comfortable with James one on one hangs with Lala.’” As fans know, the couple previously had a sexual relationship.

While taping the February 28 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala Alongside her co-stars Kristina Kelly and Scheana Shay, Kent opened up about her friendship with Kennedy. Kelly interjected that she believed Kent and the professional DJ should star in a spinoff series. Shay suggested that Lewber wouldn’t be happy with the prospect of her boyfriend and the “4 U” singer having their own show because she was “a little insecure about you guys this season.” Kent then revealed that she didn’t know Lewber was having issues with her and Kennedy’s relationship until she saw the Season 10 trailer.

“I did not know that. I found this out watching the trailer because we had a lot of conversations and not once did she say, “You know I feel that way about you, Lala. I don’t fully trust you.’ She was like a smile,” Kent claimed.

She explained that she didn’t appreciate Lewber’s comment because it didn’t publicize her issues.

“Never, I hung out with her all season, we went and did stuff,” Kent said. “And then I see her talking to Charli, another person who’s going in and out and saying, ‘I don’t quite trust James when it comes to Lala.’ I do not like that. Like you never said anything like that to me, but whatever, go ahead, I don’t care.”

In “Vanderpump Rules” Season 10 Episode 1, Kent revealed that she and Kennedy had a sexual encounter early in his relationship with his ex-fiancé Raquel Leviss in 2016.

Kennedy addressed Kent’s revelation while speaking to E! News, along with Lewber, at the “Vanderpump Rules” season 10 premiere party in February 2023. The reality TV personality declared it was “not a proud moment” and claimed he’s matured since then. He also suggested that he has no regrets about being unfaithful while dating Leviss as he is happy with the current state of his life.

“Looking back you know obviously not the move I would take today but it’s a good life lesson and hey looking at my relationship with Ally I can honestly say I’ve never really felt mine.” Living before that, so maybe I just had to get to that place,” Kennedy said.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star had a similar sentiment during an interview with The Buzz at the same event. He shared that he felt he “managed [the situation] pretty good.”

“Everyone has a past and I’ve never gotten into a relationship where I judge my partner for their past, so I really wouldn’t want that to happen in any of my relationships. But looking forward, you know, I’ve definitely come a long way in terms of maturity,” Kennedy said.

While speaking to The Buzz, Lewber shared her thoughts on Kent’s confession about her encounter with Kennedy.

“It was a change, I think. Just a little bit to get used to his past and all his skeletons,” said the 27-year-old.

Ally Lewber revealed that she has had a positive experience with Lala Kent

In a February 2023 appearance on the Zachary Reality podcast.Lewber shared that she had had a positive experience with Kent. She revealed that the mother-of-one and Shay supported her during her time on Vanderpump Rules.

“Scheana was definitely the most welcoming. She has, she’s the one who texts me a lot and she invites me to things and she shared a makeup artist with me. But to be honest, I’ve had different moments with a lot of people [the cast]like Lala was great at moments,” Lewber said.
