Wakanda Forever Trailer is a tribute to Chadwick Boseman

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever released its trailer at Comic-Con on Saturday, paying a moving tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
The footage, which included an incredible montage sequence, was revealed by director Ryan Coogler and the cast of Marve Studeios.
Coogler told a panel at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend that “we poured our love for Chadwick into this movie.”
He also talked about how the very first footage was released on the same stage five years ago.
Wakanda Forever’s tribute to Chadwick Boseman
Coogler said, “Five years ago I sat right there and we premiered the first footage of Black Panther.”
“Beside me, on the right to my left, sat our T’Challa, the late great Chadwick Boseman.
“The cast, including Chad, hadn’t seen the footage so he was right next to me when we played it and he was excited and grabbed my shoulders. If you’ve ever seen Chad in person, he had these huge hands.”
He added: “I promise you I can feel his hand on me now.
“Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, passion, genius, pride, culture and the impact he had on this industry will be felt forever. We poured our love for Chadwick into this film.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer drops
The loss of Boseman and T’Challa is evident from the beginning of the trailer, as Shuri – played by Letitia Wright – and Queen Ramonda – Angela Bassett – mourn their fallen king.
However, as the trailer continues, fans will see a new Black Panther, but we have no idea who it is since her face is hidden. Is it Shuri or someone else entirely?
The panel confirmed rumors to Marvel fans about the appearance of Namor the Sub-Mariner, the king of the state of Atlantis, portrayed by Tenoch Huerta.
Namor and T’Challa had a rivalry in the 2013 New Avengers comic created by writer Jonathan Hickman.
“I Came Out of the Hood”
Speaking on the podium was Huerta himself, who said it was an “honour” to be there.
He said: “I’m so happy to be here. It is a honor. I would like to quickly say something about inclusion.
“I’m from the Hood. Serious. And thanks to inclusion, I’m here. Without inclusion I wouldn’t be here.
“A lot of kids are there in their hood, looking at us and dreaming of being here. And they will make it.”
He’s not the only new face, however, as fans get a glimpse of Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) as Ironheart. She plans to have her own series on Disney+.
Fans are “crying” over Chadwick’s tribute
One fan wrote: “Black Panther 2 teaser #WakandaForever has just come out and I’m both excited and sad that we’ve lost Chadwick Boseman.”
A second wrote: “My Sunday already consists of seeing a mural Chadwick Boseman‘s T’Challa in ‘BLACK PANTHERS: WAKANDA FOREVER” is reassuring as he said “in my culture death is not the end”.
One third written: “Chadwick Boseman, I wish you were here to witness this day and finish what you started. That Black Panthers movie sequel. The trailer really got me; The songs “No woman, no cry” to “Alright” are a blast.
