Every ESPN insider Adrian WojnarowskiTwo-time NBA Finals Player of the Year Kevin Durant has officially requested an exchange from the Brooklyn Nets. After just one playoff win and not being in the Eastern Conference Finals, what at one point was seen as the NBA’s potential next great dynasty, had to come to a halt. Durant’s request comes on the third anniversary of the day he and All-Star Kyrie Irving decided to join the Nets as free agents in 2019. But after a tumultuous 2022 season in Brooklyn , All-Star has 12 times decided to continue.

As one of the NBA’s best players, expect many teams to come to Durant’s doorstep hoping to land him. After all, whichever team he chooses to join will almost certainly be championship contenders. However, Jake L. Fischer of “Bleacher Report” said that the Golden State Warriors are not a viable landing for the Nets star in a potential deal, shutting down any chance of reuniting with superstar Steph Curry.

“Around the league, name a potential commercial partner, pick their best player under the age of 30 and see where the offer for Durant would have to start. Anthony Davis Packs New Orleans landing from Los Angeles in 2019 would be the closest benchmark in recent memory,” Fischer wrote.

“The only team that the NBA with knowledge of the situation has indicated that is not a tangible option for Durant is Golden State. And the Warriors likely didn’t have a winning package that could satisfy Brooklyn’s interest. “

So to open your doors, to open your arms wide and accept someone with open arms, and it goes great but it’s short-lived, it’s a slap in the face, ” Green told Vincent Goodwill of “Yahoo Sports”.

“It doesn’t have to be a slap in the face, when someone chooses to do something else. But a slap in the face is like, ‘I opened the door of my house for you. I brought you into this. I made you a part of this. I want you to be a part of this until we can’t do it anymore. Then when you want to do something else. ‘ No hard feelings, no malice, wanting you to do well no matter what. It’s brotherly love.”
