Warzone April Fools Update Patch Notes & Totally Normal BR Explained

The new Call of Duty Warzone April Fool’s Day update patch notes have been shared by Raven Software as players grapple with the Totally Normal BR mode.

Like other April Fools’ Day modes, Raven Software’s 2022 release makes some pretty big changes to the regular battle royale formula.

And as part of the ongoing joke, the development team has released a new series of patch notes that contain some pretty earth-shattering, if temporary, tweaks to the game.

Warzone April Fools Update Patch Notes & BR Modes

A new Call of Duty Warzone playlist was launched on April 1st, making big changes to the normal battle royale formula. Totally Normal BR and Rebirth modes add rocket launchers to your starting loadout, remove damage from explosions, and unlimited Gulag visits as you keep winning. There are also more loadouts that drop closer to the start of each match with Specialist, making for some interesting encounters in Caldera and Rebirth.

The only downside to all this stupidity is that you can’t play the normal modes right now, and we don’t know when they’ll be back. There seems to be a pretty good chance these modes will only last for 24 hours, meaning normal service should return fairly quickly. Raven Software also released some interesting new patch notes alongside today’s April Fool’s Day Warzone update, which are listed below:

Gameplay Adjustments

• Custom loadouts have been removed.

Loadout weapons were clearly overpowered as players outfitted them with effective attachment combinations. To level the playing field for everyone, we removed loadouts from the game. May RNG be on your side!

• Changed the parachuting feature in Caldera.

The data shows that a significant number of players die on infil. In light of the ongoing struggle, we’ve removed that initial barrier to entry. We would like to thank our creators for providing live demonstrations of this edition.

New tactical gear

• attachment grenade
  • Players can throw this grenade to spawn a 20x20x20cm fortified box base equipped with a Firesale Buy Station, AA Gun and defensive armored truck AI, giving them a distinct advantage in open confrontations.

Analyzing our heatmaps, we found that players need better tools to contact each other in low-density areas. We expect portable forts to improve survivability and shape enemy morale.
