Professional Call of Duty: Warzone has been banned from left and right balls recently. After switching to a new account to keep playing, they thought low K/D accounts would get extra help with goals from the game.
“Bullet reg” or “hit reg” is a popular term in the first-person shooter community, meaning “bullet registration/hits”. Players often question the game’s ability to fire bullets when it feels like hits on enemies don’t seem to actually record hitting them in-game.
While subscription bullets can often experience internet connectivity issues, Warzone streamers now suspect something puzzling is going on. After being forced to play on lower K/D accounts due to the ban on darkness, they feel that their ability to log bullets is improved.
It’s hard to tell if this is a real or placebo effect, but many are wondering if the game is artificially helping lower skill players. Therefore, “skill-based gunfight” is becoming a hot topic.
Warzone pro claims low K/D players get increased accuracy
Update: that’s the ABSURD difference in bullet registration https://t.co/nGmEF2RGzi
– Luke (@Flxnked) January 6, 2022
As Flxnked tweeted out, they tested their target on a 0.3 K/D account and noticed “ABSURD difference in bullet registration”. This love is attested by recent tournament winner zSmit, who speak he took “7 rounds with MP-40 over 0.7 instead”.
In addition, a Warzone pro has the highest income Fifakill note that a lot of players are having the same experience. They swapped accounts after being banned and felt like their shots were on target more often than usual.
Normalists also agree, with one saying that “skill-based gunplay is an important thing.” Another claimed that “playing on a new account feels like having an aimbot”.
While it’s impossible to know exactly what’s going on, the suspicion is intriguing. Warzone has been accused of manipulating the lobby and SBMM to promote microtransactions and helped lower level players in the past.
Improving bullet speed for lower K/D players would be an obvious, easy way to help them enjoy a game that’s mechanically difficult.
It’s true that Flxnked’s Gulag clip has impressive reg ammo, but maybe that’s a coincidence. Believe it or not, we can be sure to see more players testing the theory now as concern has been raised.
