Warzone Pay-to-win invisible skin still ruins matches after 2 weeks

Call of Duty: Warzone’s invisible skin is, after two weeks, still loose. Without any sign of an impending fix, player patience is dwindling as the “pay-to-win” Battle Pass Operator wreaks havoc.

Did you notice a weird, floating orange mask in Warzone – or just can’t see people shooting at you from afar? There is a mysterious nightmare shared with the Warzone community. And, even if you don’t realize it, you may have been your own victim.

If you’ve noticed the invisible Warzone skin, you’re probably annoyed by it and we’re simply preaching to the choir here. If you haven’t noticed it, it’s completely understandable – it’s literally invisible and, therefore, difficult to notice.

Basically, da Level 100 Operator in Vanguard and Pacific Season 1 Battle Pass malfunctioned. Called “Awoken Francis”, this bug completely disguises everything but the mask of its operator from 35 meters away. And it’s still not fixed.

Warzone’s invisible skin was ignored by the developers for 2 weeks

The incident was first noticed around December 15, when Concerns around pay-to-win skin emerged. And, with Raven Software tweeting about new events about two weeks later, users are asking where the fix lies.

As shown in the video from ‘Fallen_Eh’, Warzone’s invisible skin can be detected simply by a mask hovering in the distance. And they had a simple question for developers: “Pay to win invisible operator skin?”

And Fallen_Eh is no longer alone in wondering when and where a fix will be available, as many streamers are also voicing concerns.

Warzone streamers frustrated with invisible skin

As a New York Subliner streamer and regular tournament competitor, Swishem is utterly baffled that the wiretapped skin still exists. On December 28, gamers asked: “How come they still haven’t fixed the stealth skin in warzone?”

And there is still no answer to that question. The problem doesn’t even exist on Raven Software’s Trello board for known issues at this time.

With quality assurance testers strike and studios are on holiday, it’s still unclear when the final pay-to-win Warzone stealth skin will be scheduled.
