Was Anthony Strangis in the military?

No, it seems Strangis’ stories about his days in the military are made up.

The Netflix documentary explained that Anthony Strangis would constantly talk about his time in the military, specifically with the Navy SEALS.

Sarma even told Netflix that he would explain his mysterious extended absences by admitting to serving in the Black Ops. Stangis’ laptop was also heavily password-protected, and the interface sported a CIA-style badge.

A story Strangis told about being shot dead in the military turned out to be a lie as the bandages he was wearing reportedly made his chest look smaller.
