Buffalo looting videos have gone viral after being posted on TikTok. They show the aftermath of the looting during the winter storm in Buffalo, New York. A video shows a man shooting at looters.

A TikTok video had more than 300,000 views on Twitter alone.

“Buffalo NY during a snow storm smh,” reads the caption. “There are birds in here,” says a woman as people walk through a looted store with goods strewn on the floor.

At least 17 people have died in the deadly snowstorm in Erie and Niagara counties. according to The Buffalo News. The Washington Post reported on December 26, 2022 that at least 26 people died as a result of the snowstorm.

A video, who has disturbing language, says shopkeepers “got their guns, they got their broomsticks.” The man says they’re going to “shoot someone”.

The video includes screams and shows a group of people before shots are fired.

Here’s another video the shots from a different angle. Note that the video uses disturbing, racist language.

Both videos mockingly refer to “Arabs”.

Buffalo Police took reports of theft through a website. “Property crimes such as lost property, theft or hit and run where there is no active threat can be reported on the Buffalo Police Department websitethey wrote on Facebook.

Meanwhile, officials said there have only been two verified reports of looting.

“We received two confirmed reports of looting incidents where law enforcement dispatched and responded,” said New York State Police Superintendent Steven A. Nigrelli. according to WZRG.

“As we speak, these are still under investigation. Those are isolated incidents and it doesn’t reflect the great community out west of New York and I’m sure they will be limited to those two incidents, or at least that’s our hope.”

WGRZ reported: “A viewer sent 2 On Your Side videos near Grant Street and West Ferry Street which appeared to show shops with windows broken. Another video showed a disheveled 7-11 near Hampshire and Niagara streets.”


Another video showed people running into a family dollar store

This video showed People carrying a large item down the street.

Another video showed people coming out of a broken glass door of a building.

This was announced by the New York governor’s officeOn Thursday, the governor “declared a nationwide state of emergency ahead of the event. In addition, Governor Hochul has dispatched 200 members of the New York National Guard to assist New Yorkers in emergencies and those unable to travel.”

According to the Buffalo Police Departmentthe city had a travel ban due to the snowstorm.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Department wrote on Facebook on Dec. 26, 2022: “Although some areas of #ErieCounty are subject to driving bans, people are encouraged to stay home so first responders can perform social checks and plows can continue to clear the streets.”

One woman responded in the comments thread: “And what do you want the people of the city of Buffalo to do in terms of groceries and other essentials they need?! Since this began, there hasn’t been ONE plow in our ENTIRE “district”. AND there are also NO “abandoned vehicles” blocking their way!!! Hertle is car free, Starin is car free…..let’s go now!!!!”
