Tanguy Ndombele may not have had much success in London at Tottenham Hotspur, but he certainly did – albeit against West Ham – on Thursday night. He equalized for his loan side as they drew against the Hammers.
Ndombele, 25, left Tottenham on loan in January having previously played just six Premier League games in the starting XI – returning to the side Spurs paid a club-record fee to sign the France international. Since then he has been indifferent.
After a solid start with Lyon under Peter Bosz, Ndombele has put in some good performances. Against West Ham, Ndombele provided a crucial moment for Lyon as West Ham led 1-0.
There was a lot of drama at the London stadium all the time. Firstly, Aaron Creswell was sent off rather harshly – with many decisions consistently going against West Ham, much to the frustration of the crowd.

But West Ham opened the scoring despite the numerical disadvantage – a loose ball fell on Jarrod Bowen in the Lyon penalty area and his twist and turn saw the ball deflected into the French back net.
However, it was Ndombele who scored the equaliser. Ndombele, his first goal on loan for Lyon, scored home after West Ham failed to parry an attack from the left. Watch below how Ndombele got his name on the score sheet.
