Hegele said she hopes to return to Hope Valley
Charlotte Hegele, who played Julie on the series, responded to a fan hoping she will return to the show. She stated that she would also like to return to the Hope Valley series.
The fan wrote: “So Juliette is based on Julie. Sounds right. 😉 I hope to see her again in Hope Valley one day! 🥰@charlottehegele #hearties.”
Hegele replied: “Thank you! I hope so too ❤️.”
Executive Director Brian Bird retweeted a message from a fan saying they miss Elizabeth’s sister too, as does Elizabeth.
Fans have taken to social media to say they would love Julie to return to the show.

In Season 9, Episode 3, Molly became convinced that she was the red-haired Juliette in Elizabeth’s book, sometimes described in unflattering terms. But towards the end of the episode, it was revealed that Elizabeth had modeled Juliette after her sister Julie, who was not pleased with the revelation.

She also spoke about her recent appearance in Hope Valley. She said her return in season six of the show, when she was last on the show, was actually a recast, and the scene she filmed turned out very differently than she expected.
“Any time you can step back into a character, it’s a gift,” she said. “I did the christening scene… The last take, you think I’m holding the baby… I didn’t actually meet [the Taylor twins.] For the rewrite…they had conflicting schedules…I actually had to hold another baby and then they got to work on it together…On the day the little baby I was holding…she was fine until the plot’ and then breaks out of whatever Bursts into tears, starts screaming and says, ‘Just smile.’ … She looks around, searches for her mother, and then I do everything I can, they say, “Don’t look at the baby, look at Erin,” and Erin says, “You’re doing great, you’re doing this.” Great.'”
She joked about how crazy it was to film, but it still turned out well in the end. She added in this interview that she would really enjoy returning to Hope Valley one day.
