We finally know who the head of Uvalde was called during filming

Law enforcement officers defeated people in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24.
That we know for sure.
That day, a school shooter opened fire on a classroom at Robb Elementary School, killing 21 people, most of them children.
A new report released from Sunday tells us more about the depth of this failure.
According to Britain’s Daily Mail, instead of sending dozens of officers on duty in classrooms 111 and 112, Police Chief Peter Arredondo of Robb Primary School chose to negotiate with the gunman, begging him to get out.

CNN has released exclusive body footage from the law enforcement response.

The footage shows Arrondado on the phone as he begs the shooter to give up.
Did law enforcement officers respond to this shooting?
“Let me know if there are any kids in there or whatever,” Arredondo said, according to the Daily Mail. “This can be peaceful.”
The gunman refused to answer, but Arredondo continued to try to make contact.
“Can you tell me your name, anything can help, please?” said the sheriff, but again did not answer.
In the CNN footage, Arredondo can be heard begging the shooter to put down his weapon.
When they learned that there might be children in the room, the police still did not act.
The officers present, including Arredondo, then heard a barrage of gunfire.
Even so, it can be seen that they are holding their position and standing around.
According to CNN, it took officers another six minutes to break into the room.
All of this begs the question – who in their mind would call an active rifleman, begging him to stop, while dozens of guns were at the ready and ready to take him down?
The Uvalde community – and all those in America who witnessed these tragic events unfold – deserve an answer from Arredondo.
A bad guy with a gun could have killed these kids, but the apparent cowardice of the authorities completely triggered this carnage.
Only time will tell whether the parties involved will face justice.
