When “The Voice” Runner-up Wendy Moten tripping over the screen and falling on the live broadcast, she told viewers at home that she was fine after the commercial break.

Moten Reveals Her Elbows Are ‘Jacked Up’ and ‘Shattered’

The 57-year-old singer is even scheduled for two different surgery dates, one for if she wins the show and one for if she doesn’t.

Moten’s elbow injury is more serious than fans who’ve seen her laugh and sing out loud on “The Voice” can tell. Moten told PEOPLE: “My elbow is strained. “It was ruined. It is not good. I had to have surgery to put the metal plates and bolts and stuff. So I’m surprised that I can still go on with that knowledge. “

“I am so lucky to have found the right guy, the right life partner, because I have been career-oriented all my life and so is he,” said Moten. “He is my biggest cheerleader. I’m a workaholic, so sometimes I’ll go on two to three tours in a year. The wrong person will think that you don’t like them, or that you never want to be at home, but he understands that I’m just the driver,” Moten said. “(There were no) problems choosing between him or my job. He knows I love to work, and so does he, so it was just a fluke.”
