West Ham could now miss another ace against Nottingham Forest

Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest will sign Orel Mangala from Stuttgart in the summer transfer window, according to West Ham United target the athlete.

The Athletic have reported this forest have agreed in principle to sign Orel Mangala from Stuttgart.

The Reds, who will play in the Premier League next season after being promoted from the Championship, will pay German club Stuttgart €15m (£12.75m) in transfer fees.

West Ham have also been linked with Mangala but it seems Forest will beat them with the midfielder’s signature.

Last week, This is reported by the Stuttgarter Nachrichten that West Ham show keen interest in signing Mangala.

Interestingly, the Hammers were also looking to sign Jesse Lingard before the former Manchester United attacking midfielder joined Forest on a one-year deal this summer.

As reported by the athlete Last week, the Hammers were looking to sign Lingard but the Englishman opted for Forest instead.


Orel Mangala has been in the books of the Stuttgarter since 2017 and played twice for the Belgian national football team.

The 24-year-old did it 22 starts and six reserve missions last season in the Bundesliga.

Mangala scored one goal and provided three assists in those games.
