What a typical week looks like for the Bob Does Sports crew

If you’ve ever thought that being a golf influencer was all fun and games, think again.
On the latest episode of GOLF’s Subpar, filmed on October 26th at Tito’s Shorties Classic in Austin, Texas, co-host Drew Stoltz sat down with the Bob Does Sports gang to find out what a typical week of filming for the Trio looks like.
“We try to do one trip a month — try it, but something always ends up popping up and then we get as many videos as we can in the entire week we do,” said the group’s namesake, Robby Berger , to Stoltz. Recently one of those trips took the gang to St. Andrews in Scotland.
Berger said when these additional tasks come up, things tend to get a little hectic. Nick Stubbe, aka Fat Perez, added that these trips could end up meaning six days of golf in a row.
But even if that happens, Berger said the crew can’t really complain because playing golf for a living feels like a godsend. He added that everything you see on camera is authentic.
“What you see on camera is the same when we all look out for each other,” he said. “And it’s a really close-knit, close-knit group where, for the most part, we don’t get tired of each other.”
Of course, that could all change soon. Stubbe said the current model for filming is based on the fact that he lives on the East Coast, while Berger and Joseph Demare, also known as Joey Cold Cuts, currently live on the West Coast.
But the hope is that the trio can get together much more often if they all live close to each other in Florida. More precisely, in the PGA Tour stronghold Jupiter, Florida.
“It just makes sense,” Stubbe said.
