What does MIT stand for in Overwatch 2?

MIT on the surveillance 2 Scoreband means and stands for mitigated damage.

Per the OW2 beta Sticky NotesIt is a ‘new stat that includes previous blocked damage, but also tracks damage prevented by effects like Ana’s Nano Boost or Orisa’s Enhancement‘.

This isn’t the latest change, as Blizzard says they also plan to “add tracking for damage mitigated by effects like Lucio’s Sonic Barrier.”

In addition to MIT, the surveillance 2 Beta Scoreboard made changes to assist stats.

This now measures what a player earns from what was previously known as defensive or offensive assists. Below are the other changes made:

  • Completed reorganized layout that brings key information together for an easier viewing experience
  • Improved ultimate progress bars that now display numeric values
  • Increased transparency so you can see more of the game action while looking at the scoreboard

If you look at the scoreboard, you’ll see columns for E, A, D, DMG, H, and MIT. These all represent eliminations, assists, deaths, hero damage dealt, healing done, and damage mitigated.
