A statement from BigHit Music has confirmed that BTS star J-Hope, aka Hobi, has tested positive for COVID-19. The statement was divided via Weverse.

On Wednesday, March 23, the singer came to the hospital with a sore throat and took a PCR test. J-Hope has received all three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and currently has “no symptoms other than a sore throat.”

He is in self-isolation and being treated at home.

Do other BTS members have COVID-19?

BigHit’s statement explained that with the exception of J-Hope, BTS members are “currently not experiencing any particular symptoms.”

While the singer is having to take some time off to recover, “he will enter the planned schedule next month upon completion of home treatment.”

The explanation is:

“We will do our best to support J-Hope so that he can regain his health as soon as possible, considering the health and safety of the artist as our top priority. In addition, we will cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities in a spirit of trust.”
