Longtime QVC host Caroline Grace officially leaves the shopping network. After nearly two decades of hosting programs such as The garden party with Carolyn And Carolyn’s closetCarolyn shocked fans with her announcement.

What happened to Carolyn Gracie on QVC? She left the show after 19 years.
After serving as a QVC host for almost two decades, Carolyn has officially left the network. On March 1, the venerable TV host announced her departure in social media posts. “After 19 years I no longer work at QVC”, Caroline wrote. “I loved every minute of my time there… You were the most valuable part of my job as a QVC host.”

However, the Garden party with Carolyn The host has many future activities planned. Carolyn is creating new Facebook and Instagram pages for fans to follow her off-air life. “You won’t want to miss out on all the fun with pets, gardening, RV’s and more!” She said. “Remember what I always say – NOT DILLY DALLY!! I can’t wait to share my next chapter with you guys!”
The Carolyn’s closet The host’s announcement was met with nothing but love from colleagues and fans. “Wishing you the very best my friend!” QVC Senior Presenter Rick Domeier commented. “Being neighbors, we hope to see you driving by in your new RV, off to New Adventures!”

Carolyn Gracie isn’t the only presenter to leave QVC. Dan Hughes also announced his departure.
On March 1st, Dan Hughes announced his departure from QVC on Facebook. After more than three decades with the network, Dan also shocked fans with his departure. “After 33 years in office, it’s time for me and QVC to go our separate ways,” he said Great outdoors with Dan host wrote. “I say this with nothing less than gratitude to those who have supported and worked with me over the years.”
Thankfully, Dan has his next move planned, too. “It’s time for me to focus fully on my writing. Spend more time with family and friends and maybe tinker with a few projects that have been put on hold for far too long,” he shared.

Why are Carolyn Gracie and Dan Hughes leaving QVC?
While none of the QVC hosts outwardly mentioned the reason for their respective departures, it may have something to do with the fact that QVC’s parent company, Qurate Retail Group, has eliminated a significant number of roles at QVC US and HSN. According to the company Released on February 28ththis decision affected 400 employees.
“Today will be the last day of work for most of these team members,” the statement said. “These decisions are not easy, but they are necessary to realign the way we run the business and focus more on critical priorities.”
