What is Halo’s Silver Team and who is in Master Chief’s roster?

Loyal fans and new viewers of the gloriole Franchises are keen to dive into the new Paramount Plus series after Master Chief, and there are plenty of moving parts to get acquainted with.

We explain what the Silver Team is in the new series, introduce you to the members and explain what the Silver Timeline is.

Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane for Paramount Plus and based on the popular 343 Industries video game franchise of the same name, gloriole is a military sci-fi fantasy franchise and the series will reportedly center on “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien menace known as the Covenant.”

What is the Silver Team and who are the members?

Introduced in Episode 1 of gloriole Series, the Silver Team is the name of the core Spartan Fireteam.

Silver team members include John-117 aka Master Chief, Riz-028, Kai-125 and Vannak-134.

Master Chief acts as the leader of the Spartans, however, in the rest of the Halo Universe, Master Chief actually leads the blue team.

The team’s color is believed to have been changed to fit the silver theme the show has established, including the silver timeline.

What is the silver timeline?

The Silver timeline is a parallel timeline separate from the core canon of the gloriole Franchise that continues a silver theme consistent with the aforementioned team.

By setting the series in the Silver Timeline, the developers are able to deviate from the events that transpired in the video game franchise to tell the story they want to tell.

The characters that fans have come to know and love may not have the same background and act as in the video game series.


Halo Episode Guide

gloriole consists of nine episodes within the first season airing on Paramount Plus, and each episode lasts approximately 60 minutes.

The series first premiered with one episode on Thursday, March 24, 2022, and the platform has decided to release one episode per week.

Below we’ve highlighted the episode titles we know of so far and upcoming release dates for you to mark on your calendar.

  • Episode 1: Contact – Thursday 24 March 2022
  • Episode 2: Unboundd – Thursday 31 March 2022
  • Episode 3: TBA – Thursday April 7, 2022
  • Episode 4: TBA – Thursday April 14, 2022
  • Episode 5: TBA – Thursday April 21, 2022
  • Episode 6: TBA – Thursday April 28, 2022
  • Episode 7: TBA – Thursday 5th May 2022
  • Episode 8: TBA – Thursday May 12, 2022
  • Episode 9: TBA – Thursday May 19, 2022

Goes according to the above schedule that gloriole finale will premiere on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
