Final Fantasy XIV is a huge game with millions of players. Trying to follow and talk to your friends in this MMO can be difficult if you are not in the Company or the Liberal Party together. Thankfully, some Linshells make it easier to talk between groups of friends. Make sure you know how to manage this system so that communication is accessible.
Links are chat channels that allow players to communicate without being inside the Company or the Freelance Party. Linkshells are a great way to stay in touch with a group of players you enjoy chatting with in Final Fantasy XIV. However, Linkshells has some limitations, so be aware of the following:
Related: Final Fantasy XIV PS4 and PS5
- Players can only join up to eight Linkshells at a time.
- Linkshells can hold up to 128 players.
- Linkshell names can contain letters and numbers, but must be 31 characters or less.
Players can create Links by obtaining link player items from the following NPCs
|A’shakkal||Drowning Wench||Limsa Lominsa|
To complete the creation, you need to give your Linkshell a name, choose an icon and some Linkshell colors. Once you’ve created Linkshell, arm your new Linkpearl and recruit people you want to chat with at any time.
