The nation’s newspapers are run entirely by Liz Truss, who officially takes the helm at No. 10.
“We can weather the storm” is the headline The Daily Telegraphthe Daily mail, Daily express and The times when Mrs Truss made her first speech as Prime Minister.
The slogan also graces the front page of metro.
The guard reports that the new prime minister has vowed to solve the cost of living crisis with a plan to freeze energy bills while the I says “the truss era begins with (a) rudder warning”.
The Independent leads with Ms Truss, who appoints the members of her cabinet, with a former MP who tells the newspaper of her fears that it is a “cabinet of cronies”.

The sun devotes its front page to the moment Mrs Truss met the Queen at Balmoral.
And the Daily Star says Britain “runs out of clowns” due to visa problems stemming from the war in Ukraine.
