What’s to eat on Super Bowl Sunday in Pennsylvania?

(WTAJ) – A little over a day before Super Bowl LVII, people are getting the most important things ready before kickoff. That’s the food, of course!

A recent study by Study Finds shows that Pennsylvanians love to sit down and enjoy Buffalo Wings while watching the game. That may not surprise us who live here, but Buffalo wings actually rank sixth among the best Super Bowl meals in the country.

That top spot belongs to Meatballs. Crazy, right? Even stranger, pizza isn’t even in the top 10!

Although an estimated 2 in 5 Americans will eat wings on Super Bowl Sunday, meatballs are still the most popular, according to StudyFinds.

After meatballs, Americans enjoy guacamole, chips & salsa, tater tots and chili to round out the top 5. Among Buffalo Wings is hummus, followed by nachos, pork in a blanket, and spinach artichoke dip.

Pennsylvania is among the six states choosing to enjoy Buffalo Wings while watching the game. We are joined by our neighbors Ohio, Maryland and New York, followed by Virginia and Illinois.
