When does Fortnite Winterfest 2021 start and end?

It’s that time of year in Fortnite and it looks like Chapter 3 is getting off to a quick start.

In just a few days, the same season that gave us Spider-Man will also give us the start of Winterfest. This news comes from Update v19.01 that let us adjust weapons and some necessary fixes.

If you’re the type of person who enjoys completing quests to earn tons of XP while also having a chance to earn some free cosmetics, you’re in luck.

Winterfest is ready to go live again and it will bring a variety of holiday looks to the game and the transformation you have seen will continue to be more festive.

Here’s what we know about Winterfest.

According to a many people jumping fortnite, Winterfest is kicking off on December 16th, so there’s only a few days left before we can get in on the good stuff.

This event is unlike any other in Fortnite as it allows players to open gifts and get some free cosmetics. It looks like there will be at least one free-to-player skin, but who knows what the future holds?

Oddly enough, leaked images of the Winterfest cabin show a bunch of goodies from MJ, so it looks like she’s excited to show us all she’s got for us.

Of course, MJ is more likely an allusion to Spider-Man Mary Jane’s love interest. There’s no telling if this is how the cabin will kick off because it seems odd that every gift is coming from the same person.

One of these giveaways will probably contain the Blizzabelle skin, it looks like above, so if you log in and open your gift you should be able to claim it for free. There will be skins put into the Item Shop that you might be interested in, so save up your V-Bucks.

Winterfest end date

Sadly, all good things must come to an end and Winterfest is no exception. Based on ShiinaBR, this holiday event will end on January 6, but that gives us plenty of time to experience everything Epic has to offer.

With all the cosmetics and quests to complete, players are sure to be busy for the rest of the month and a few days into the new year, so make sure you don’t miss out on the festivities.

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Fortnite at the moment thanks to the launch of a new Chapter, and this Winterfest event is just the freeze. There’s a lot of cool stuff in the game right now and yes we’re talking about Spider-Man’s Web Shooters. It’s been a long time since a season got off to an exciting start like this, so we’ll relax and bask in the glory of a new chapter.

We’ll have to wait and see if Epic can keep the ball rolling all season long.
